Gorilla Permit in Uganda is: USD: 700.00 PER PERSON! No Low Season [April, May and November] incentive discounts anymore. Rwanda Gorilla Permit is: USD: 1500.00 PER PERSON! We shall always update our clients, once any price changes are announced. In both countries – Uganda or Rwanda – children under the age of 15 years are NOT allowed to trek gorillas or chimps.
KAMPALA – BWINDI NATIONAL PARK – KAMPALA [BY ROAD] [Enquire price for Air Option].
Day 1:: Transfer to Bwindi Forest N. Park.
Early breakfast and start by 07.30 am. Drive southwest - the journey takes us through towns, grassland plains, swampy valleys, and banana plantations to reach the Equator for photographs and Mbarara City for lunch. In the afternoon we continue drive to our lodge - reaching in the evening. Check in, dinner and overnight: Engagi Lodge, or similar.
Day 2:: Gorilla Treking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
Breakfast at our lodge. With packed lunch we transfer to the park headquarters for briefing. Later as per allocation you set off into the forest to search for the apes. Depending on their movement the walk might take between 2-9 hours before you encounter the gorillas. The walk could be tiresome however meeting these great apes and spending some time with them while looking deep into their expressive brown eyes, is an exhilarating and heartbreaking wildlife encounter. According to your guide wherever permissible you will enjoy your lunch box in the forest –returning early afternoon to your lodge. Dinner and overnight at: Engagi Lodge, or similar
Day 3:: Overland Return to Kampala.
Breakfast at the lodge, start your road return to Kampala. It will be a long day through the rich farmland with scenic green hills you passed on your way in - the “Switzerland of Africa”, The drive shall bring you back through Mbarara City for a lunch stopover, then on to Kampala arriving in the evening. Dinner and overnight at your hotel, or you may be having an international flight to catch at Entebbe International Airport - we drop you off there - with fond memories of Uganda!
A safari straight to the point - This safari is precisely ideal / suitable for those who just want to see Uganda's Mountain Gorillas, without connecting onto any other safari.

Meals & Accommodation as mentioned in the itinerary. Gorilla Permit at USD: 700 per person. Ground transportation in 4x4 vehicle(s) with pop-up hatch. Incoming & Outgoing Airport Transfers. All park fees & related government taxes 1.5 litres of Bottled Mineral Water per person per day OUTSIDE hotel/lodge. Note: Hotels/Lodges provide extra water inside their rooms for free, but charge for any water inside their restaurants.
